This requires an unrestricted electrical licence and a pass in an assessor-led accreditation program. The second is Tesla Accredited EV Charger Installer certification, issued via Tesla Support Australia, which verifies our team is trained for Tesla Home Charging installs.

Tesla Powerwall carries Tesla’s standard manufacturer warranty. Hive Solar Battery carries its own manufacturer warranty. MainSwitch Energy adds a lifetime workmanship warranty on top – covering any fault caused by how the battery was installed, for the life of the system.

The Victorian Government offers rebates to eligible households installing solar battery storage. Eligibility depends on household income, existing solar, property type, and battery system specifications. MainSwitch Energy assesses your eligibility as part of every quote and manages the application process – you do not handle the rebate paperwork.

We install Tesla Powerwall and Hive Solar Battery systems. Both carry strong manufacturer warranties and are proven in Australian conditions. MainSwitch Energy recommends the right product for your consumption profile and budget – we will tell you honestly if a particular battery is not the right fit for your situation.

Payback periods for battery storage in Melbourne typically range from 7 to 12 years depending on your feed-in tariff rate, time-of-use tariff structure, and daily consumption pattern. Available Victorian rebates can significantly shorten this. MainSwitch Energy can provide a projected payback estimate as part of your free storage assessment.

A full maintenance visit includes visual panel inspection, professional panel cleaning, inverter performance check and error log review, DC and AC connection integrity testing, monitoring system verification, and a written service report. Additional fault diagnosis and repairs are quoted separately.

Solar panels, inverters, and batteries carry their respective manufacturer warranties. MainSwitch Energy assists commercial clients to lodge and manage manufacturer warranty claims when needed.
